Benefits Of Single Page Checkout

Have you ever found something online you wanted to purchase but then left it in your shopping cart when the checkout process took too long? This happens on a regular basis because many websites still don't understand that customers want a fast and secure experience when they shop online. They don't want to go through a lot of checkout pages and simply want to pay for the product and provide you with their address so you can ship the item. Other than that, what else is needed? As a result all websites should consider a one page checkout solution. There are quite a few benefits and the following are just a few to consider.

Fast

The first thing is that a single page checkout is fast. Customers simply fill out their personal information, add their credit card information and then they are done. This is fast and easy, which is why most people shop on the web in the first place. When you make checking out easy you please the customer and ensure they will come back in the future. The single page checkout can be completed in a minute or less in most cases.

More Conversion

Many websites are finding their conversion rates are going up significantly simply because they have a single page checkout. It's surprising to many website owners, but multi-page checkouts annoy enough users that they send away quite a few without ever completing the transaction. This is important to consider because the reason to have a website in the first place is to make sales. Having the checkout process be fast and easy will ensure people actually buy the products in their shopping cart. Some websites will see a conversion rate over 50%, which is astounding!

Storage

Many of the one page shopping carts can save a lot of information from credit cards to addresses. This is important because it will make subsequent checkouts even faster. It's just the first checkout that takes a minute or two. After that then the information is auto filled and all you have to do is click submit!

Web sites that are using a multi page checkout system are more than likely losing a great deal of customers simply because the checkout process requires too much time, information, or both. By reducing the checkout time and using a simple one page checkout system you will increase your completed sales and customer satisfaction will be increased exponentially.
