Who am I? My name is Aleah Miller, Born in Hickory N.C, moved to Beaufort N.C. just about a year ago. My parents are still together, which is very unusual these days. I have one brother, which looks just like me; he?s younger so that means I get to look out for him when he gets to High School. I also have a dog; he?s a Maltese, I?m planning to take him with me when I move out and go to college. My best friend is Laura Russell; we go shopping cart racing every weekend at Wal-Mart. I have a boyfriend named Dalton Goodwin; he graduated from East last year. Every Sunday evening we go walking out on the beach and watch the sunset. I?m glad to have family and friends that cares about each other, and never gives up on anyone; no matter how hard life can get. When I was two years old my Grandma died from cervical cancer, so I didn?t get to know her that well; but heard plenty of story?s from my parents about her. Also, my aunt that was only 20-years old passed away when I was in the fourth grade from a seizer. I just met my grandfather, (my mom?s dad) back in October, so I can?t say much about him. I don?t get to see my family much, only during the holidays because of how far away we live from them. My goals and dreams include going to Appalachian State University to get my degree to work with Mentally Handicap people, and to be back in the mountains where I was born. Every summer I go to a camp and volunteer to help Mentally Challenged adults. Also, I go to another camp in Oklahoma called BBBC (Bertram Bob Bible Camp) to help children who don?t have anything go for a week where they don?t have to worry. After I do things like that, it makes me feel like I?m helping out the world a little bit, I have a gift to be able to have the patients for these type of people. A little more about myself, I have changed a lot in the past year since I have lived here. During the summer time I am always partying with friends and catching the rays on the beach. The fall and winter I?m always hunting. I cheer, play softball, and play soccer. I have cheered for 11 years, been in Competition for 8 years, and at one point I was on three teams at once. I also played softball for a travel and a rec team. And I played soccer for 4 years, as multiple positions. I work on boats and cars with my dad when I have the free time; but that is rarely. I know I have changed a lot since I have moved here, and I believe I will keep changing all through High School and on into college. But I know one thing that will not change is that I am always going to love the mountains, and never give up on myself even if it?s something I don?t think I can completer. I?m not afraid to be the person I am, and I will always appreciate my relatives and my friends.
