Have you ever found something online you wanted to purchase but then left it in your shopping cart when the checkout process took too long? The first thing is that a single page checkout is fast. Customers simply fill out their personal information, add their credit card information and then they are done. This is fast and easy, which is why most people shop on the web in the first place. When you make checking out easy you please the customer and ensure they will come back in the future. The single page checkout can be completed in a minute or less in most cases.

More Conversion

Many websites are finding their conversion rates are going up significantly simply because they have a single page checkout. It's surprising to many website owners, but multi-page checkouts annoy enough users that they send away quite a few without ever completing the transaction. This is important to consider because the reason to have a website in the first place is to make sales. Having the checkout process be fast and easy will ensure people actually buy the products in their shopping cart. Some websites will see a conversion rate over 50%, which is astounding!

Many of the one page shopping carts can save a lot of information from credit cards to addresses. This is important because it will make subsequent checkouts even faster. It's just the first checkout that takes a minute or two. After that then the information is auto filled and all you have to do is click submit!

Web sites that are using a multi page checkout system are more than likely losing a great deal of customers simply because the checkout process requires too much time, information, or both. Marketing a new freelance website design company?
Hi, I recently started my own website design company. It is just me right now. Here is my website: http://premiumfldesigns.com I am having a bit more trouble getting clients then expected. Craigslist is only bringing in maybe one or two clients a month. I am considering finding local businesses that don't have good websites and calling them to sell my services (telemarketing) Any advice on that or any other methods you may have to get some new clients? I am fine with working cheap for now to build my portfolio. Any help is great. Thanks!

Is it illegal to resell hosting?
My website design company host my website which is perfectly normal. However I am being charged £50 a month ($1000 annually) for a cubecart ecommerce site on a shared host server for a site that receives 100 visits (on average) per day. I don't get any marketing or technical help, it's just the hosting and that's it. That includes so it costs them at most £42, although I am convinced they don't pay anything like that. What legal rights do I have? Can I force them down? It seems a bit unfair as they could charge £100 a month and I don't have enough technical ability to challenge them.
